This is my personal guide for conducting Expeditions. I've found this to be the most economical approach. I managed to save a lot of money.

What is an Expedition?

For detailed information about expeditions, you can refer to the Wiki.

Getting Started

As a new player, you will start by unlocking La Paz for your expedition. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you get started:

  1. Hire Your Sicarios:

    • Head to Julio’s Club to hire your Sicarios.
    • You can hire a maximum of 3 Sicarios per day. This limit can be reset using Points, but for the most economical approach, it is recommended to wait until the next day for it to reset.
  2. Understand Sicario Stats:

    • Each Sicario has four stats: MoraleCombatCaution, and Speed.
    • The primary stats are MoraleCombat, and Caution.
    • Speed is considered the secondary stat and determines the expedition time.
  3. Mix and Match Sicarios:

    • To cover the requirements for each expedition, which has minimum stat requirements, mix your Sicarios using the primary stats.
    • A recommended lineup is 2 Morale, 2 Combat, and 1 Caution, but you can adjust based on your preference.
    • Each should have the same Max Item Rank per Team.
  4. Form Your Teams:

    • Initially, you can hire 5 Sicarios per team.
    • You can send a maximum of 3 teams at the same time, 4th and 5th teams are just for reserve.

Tips

  • Economical Hiring: Avoid using points to reset the hiring limit to save resources.
  • Balanced Teams: Ensure your teams are well-balanced to meet the stat requirements for different expeditions.
  • Patience Pays Off: Waiting for the daily reset is more economical in the long run than using points for immediate resets.

Following this guide should help you progress through the game efficiently while saving resources. Happy expeditions!

Poor Man's Guide for Expedition - Chapter 2: Building a Stronger Team

In this chapter, we'll walk through the process of expanding your team of Sicarios to maximize efficiency and progress on expeditions. If you're starting with just one team of Sicarios (Team 1) and looking to add more, follow these steps:

  1. Reassign the Original Team: Start with your current team of Sicarios, originally called Team 1. This team consists of five Sicarios with a set Max Item Rank (e.g., Max Item Rank 1).

  2. Assign the Team to Lower Rank: Rename the original Team 1 as Team 2. Now, you'll hire a new team of Sicarios with a Max Item Rank one level higher than the previous team.

    • Example: If the original Team 1 has Max Item Rank 1, recruit a new team with Max Item Rank 2. The new team will now become Team 1, while the previous team (now at Rank 1) becomes Team 2.
  3. Prioritize Success Rate: When leveling up your new team of Sicarios, prioritize those with the highest success rate percentage. This strategy ensures that your newer Sicarios will level up more quickly, increasing their chances of success in harder regions.

  4. Repeat the Cycle for Rank 3: When you unlock Sicarios with Max Item Rank 3, hire them to form a new Team 1 and push the older teams down the ranks, with the previous Rank 2 team moving to Team 2, and the Item Rank 1 team moving down to Team 3.

  5. Maintain This Rotation for Efficiency: This systematic promotion of teams will keep your expedition squad strong and well-equipped. By always having the team with the highest Max Item Rank as Team 1, you'll be able to tackle tougher expeditions and make efficient use of your resources.

By following this strategy and focusing on success rates when leveling up new Sicarios, you ensure a steady progression, maximizing your effectiveness as you unlock higher ranks and face harder expeditions.

Poor Man's Guide for Expedition - Chapter 3: Equipping Your Team

This chapter focuses on the cheapest and most effective way to equip your Sicarios for expeditions without overspending.

Key Strategies for Equipping Your Team Efficiently

1. Prioritize Team 1 for Best Gear

  • Equip Team 1 with the highest Item Rank.
  • Maintain a success rate of 80%+ for faster leveling and better expedition outcomes (till they Level 10).

2. Get Free Equipment from Expeditions

  • Each expedition rewards free gear based on the Region you send Sicarios to.
  • Grind expeditions instead of spending money on expensive equipment.

3. Use the Cheapest Weapons in Each Region

Region Item to Buy Reason
Early Regions M16A2 Rifle Most affordable with decent stats.
Chuquisaca G36 Best cost-effective upgrade.
Tarija & Final Region Invest in High Item Rank Gear/weapon High rewards for better gear.

⚠ Tip: Avoid buying expensive weapons early—save resources for Tarija.

4. Upgrade Only When Necessary

Upgrade gear only if:
✔ It's for Team 1.
✔ It significantly boosts success rates.
✔ You’re entering a higher region where failure will cost time.

5. When to Start Investing in Better Equipment & Hiring More Sicarios

  • After unlocking Tarija, start spending on high item rank gear.
  • Tarija offers better rewards, making investments worthwhile.
  • Hire 3 new Sicario teams with the highest Item Rank & Base Stats to handle tougher expeditions. Tarija is the best Rigion to grind for better gear that you can use.

Thank you for the guide buddy, just a few questions. Here you assume than we only use one team at a time (team 1) but it is very possible to use 3 teams at once hence all teams progress almost at the same time. 2. Using low gear for higher region is recipe for a lot of failures ie low equipment for a say Olulo which takes almost 10hrs (6hrs if the team is strong) will take even longer to progress!
