Hey all, this is my first attempt at doing a guide and since everything else I could think of has been pretty much perfectly covered already I decided on this.

So a while back Diablo was kind enough to confirm for me that the average materials produce per hour should equal exactly half the maximum for each job. Based off this I decided to try to work out an optimal pathway to progress through the prestige levels whilst maximising the amount of materials being producing per hour for each of the robbery jobs.

This guide is predominantly focused on maximising resources gained between 0 prestige and 10 prestige so keep in mind that there may well be a more optimal pathway to get to moximum prestige faster then my method that I've not included in this. I've only done this for the first three Robbery Jobs so far and don't really intend to do it for construction.

For Farm Robbery, Agave Robbery and Coca Paste Robbery the most optimal path is exactly the same in that you would want to prestige Production Increase 4 times then switch over to Time Reduction until it's maxed before switching back to Production Increase and finishing it off.

Keep in mind that these are the theoretical averages and actual production would be effected based on factors such as RNG, Global Job XP, Job Skill level, how much INT you currently have and your Cartels Perks. Especially Agave and Coca Paste since the minimum required INT is assumed to much higher for these more difficult jobs.

Reserved.

For anyone interested in my Maths this is an exmaple of how I did it for Farm Robbery:

Initial Parameters

  1. Initial Production Rate: 5 resources per job.
  2. Initial Job Duration: 15 minutes per job.
  3. Prestige Levels: Up to 10 times (5 levels each for production increase or time reduction).

Prestige Effects

  1. Production Increase: +20% per prestige level.
  2. Time Reduction: -10% per prestige level.

Calculations for Each Prestige Pathway

  1. Calculate the new production rate and job duration for each prestige level combination.
  2. Determine the total resources produced per hour for each combination.

Full Calculation Breakdown

No Prestige (0, 0)

  • Production rate: 5 resources/job
  • Job duration: 15 minutes
  • Jobs per hour: 60/15 jobs/hour
  • Resources per hour: 4 × 5 resources/hour

Single Prestige Options

Let's calculate resources per hour for each single prestige option:

  1. 1 Production Increase (1, 0)

    • Production rate: 5 × 1.20 resources/job
    • Job duration: 15 minutes (unchanged)
    • Jobs per hour: 60 / 15 jobs/hour
    • Resources per hour: 4 × 6 resources/hour
  2. 1 Time Reduction (0, 1)

    • Production rate: 5 resources/job
    • Job duration: 15 × 0.90 minutes/job
    • Jobs per hour: 60 / 13.5 jobs/hour
    • Resources per hour: 4.44 × 5 resources/hour

Combined Prestige Pathways

Then calculate the resources per hour for various combinations up to (5, 5):

For each combination (P, T):

  • New production rate: 5 × (1 + 0.20 × P)
  • New job duration: 15 × (1 − 0.10 × T)
  • Jobs per hour: 60 / 15 × (1 − 0.10 × T)
  • Resources per hour: Jobs per hour x New production rate

Then iterated through all combinations of P and T from (0, 0) to (5, 5) and compared the resources per hour for each combination.

Did the same thing for Agave and Coca too just using the different initail values.

This is incorrect. I believe it's because you're forgetting that it takes 15% longer to re-prestige, since you gain less job XP after each prestige.

If you take that into account, the pathway to gain the maximum resources before reaching 10 prestiges is to prestige time 5 times, then profit 5 times. You can recalculate again to confirm (as I did myself), but logically speaking, you get to 2x rewards faster by doing 5 time than by doing 5 profit, so you're operating at higher profit earlier.
If you don't plan to do all 10 prestiges then the calculation is a bit different, but that's not what we're looking at here anyway.

And of course the optimal prestige pathway is the same regardless of the robbery job.

piss off stop asking me about the script
