Thanks for the info!
Do you have a list of possible rewards based on the locations? I couldn't find anything on the wiki ( https://wiki.cartelempire.online/en/Areas/Expeditions )
I've mostly done expeditions in La Paz and Pando, but so far I've only received a couple dollars + low tier items like Kevlar and some cuban cigars etc. I've spent a "ton" of money (probably not, but it feels like since i'm a noob) on weapons/armor for my sicarios, so it doesnt seem like the investment is that good... but maybe that will change later? :)

Returns on money spent on expeditions take quite some time. Thus it is not reccomended to spend at each new region and new rank sicarios

Great info Jari! Really helpful as a new player to understand what each section offers and the most effective routes to take!
Hello again!
You're a new player, wondering what everything means.
Suddenly, you see 'Expeditions' and click it.
You're met with this screen. What ?
Well, you're in luck! I will be explaining the basics of expeditions and how to handle them.
A good TLDR for expeditions is: Create Sicario teams, send Sicario teams out on missions, get items/money and repeat.
When you enter the expeditions tab, you'll see the screenshot above.
There are 3 tabs on this page:
Expeditions
This is the screen where you can send out your teams on missions
Sicarios
This is the screen where you can view all your Sicarios not assigned to teams.
Team Management
This is the screen where you can manage your teams, such as add items. I will cover this a little later.
Now it's time to actually hire some sicarios. You can get to Julio's Sicario Club through either the Sicarios screen (if you have no inactive sicarios) or as an area visible from the Town on the left side of CE. See screenshot below.
When you get there, you will be met with something like this:
These are the beginners area Sicarios. They have random stats based on the area you are in.
If you buy a sicario, you will not be able to buy a new one from that 'slot' until the daily reset. However, you can reset all slots for 25 points each day. I don't recommend doing this, only if absolutely necessary.
You can get up to 25 sicarios, if you get new sicarios due to reaching a new area, but already have 25 of them, you will have to retire them first. To do that, go to team management, select the sicario, press the cross icon, go to the sicarios tab and press retire.
The stats are as following:
Hometown
Displays the hometown of the Sicario. Does not do anything as of writing (08/07/2024)
Max Item Rank
Every assignable item in game has a rank. For instance, the M16A2 from Armed Surplus is Rank 3. You can see on the item what it does for your sicario.
Combat
The combat stat, will be improved by giving your sicarios guns and leveling.
Caution
The caution stat, will be improved by giving your sicarios armor and leveling.
Morale
The morale stat, will be improved by giving your sicarios luxuries and leveling.
Speed
The speed stat, will be improved by giving your sicarios cars. can not be leveled. If you increase this with cars, your expeditions will go faster. In La Paz, if the requirement is met, it will take 20 minutes instead of the regular 33.
Sicarios can be leveled to level 10 maximum and will only level the stat you bought them with. Each level will give him 10% stat increase, up to double the stats you bought them with.
If you bought Manel Pousa, from the screenshot above, you can only level combat with him. Eventually, at level 10, he'll be 300 combat.
Because you can not level multiple stats with one sicario, it's useful to create a mix of stats for your teams.
My personal preference is 2 caution/2 morale/1 combat. This is a balanced mix to do expeditions with.
Now, how do I assign items?
First, go to the Sicarios tab and assign them to a team. After that, go to the team management tab and you'll see them sitting there.
You can click on different ones and you will see/be able to assign the items. Weapon (combat), Armour (caution), Vehicle (speed) and Luxury(morale).
Be careful, once you add an item you can not get it back.
At the top you will see the total team stats. Added items do not seem to impact this at this time, so it's just the base stats. (08/07/2024)
Now that your team is all set up, we can start an expedition.
If you go back to the Expedition tab, you can now send out your team.
After that you will get an event is the expedition failed or is a success.
That's it for the basic guide. A little extra info:
There are 9 different area's. La Paz, Pando, Beni, Cochabamba, Oruro, Potosi, Santa Cruz, Chuquisaca and Tarija.
Every area offers different, better sicarios for you to hire.
It will also be more expensive, while the rewards in the beginning aren't all that great.
This is why I would be recommending to keep doing La Paz if you're online often.
Cartels have figured out that if you keep sending your teams out at La Paz, it will gain a similar 'effort' (XP required for the next area) hourly as the later areas.
I would also not recommend replacing teams every area, that will get you into a money struggle. I would change teams every couple of areas. My route was: La Paz, Cochabamba, Santa Cruz. Will be buying the final teams once I reach Tarija. This does not have to be your route, you have to do what you feel is best. That's why it's a recommendation.
Possible rewards, as far as I know:
