We the players of the CE game suggests that the issue of chat banned 🚫 should be made flexible depending on offense committed 

A minimum of 1 day chat ban is too long to be considered as minimum. A few hours could be included to the duration instead of a day chat ban for some minor issues 😕

This needs to be put into consideration 🙏

For the interest of the players 

PYTHON and ANACONDA....have either of you been chat banned before? Did either of you get chat banned for something you said regarding the reasons which stirred up this entire thread? 

Didn't think so, you're both asking for a change to something that's never affected you and for something you're worried you might say/do in the future. Just drop it please

You could do something like this example: 30 minutes > 1 hours > 8 hours > 1 days > 3 days when they repeat breaking the same rule, instead of just chat banned for one day straight.

I don't quite understand why we have to being this strict about some minor things, please reconsider the punishment of chat ban diablo :(

After all, isn't the friendly community is one of our biggest advantage?

And no goosie, I was worried about the future of CE, have you heard about Chilling Effect？

edit: no @ogbob, I don't protest about your judgement, just don't like the minimum one day chat banned. about @goosie, one day won't hurt much* for you, but it definitely would hurt those newbie.

The rules are pretty clear. I warned them. They posted anyway, so I did what I said I was going to do. idk what the chilling effect has to do with it....

   @PYTHON - What is going to "catch up" to me exactly that I'm horribly not seeing? I've got a serious question for you. What would you think about someone in a position of authority, who's job is to enforce rules of the game and then doesn't fulfill his duties when necessary or follow through with what he says? For me.....that would be someone I would NOT want to have that kind of position. I would have a hard time respecting someone like that as a man who's word means nothing. 

 @REDACTED - I can understand the reasons behind a shorter timed chat ban to an extent. If the mods had an option to chat ban someone for only 30 minutes I could see the temptation of using that on a friend. Possibly using it in more of a funny manner than an actual consequence situation. If we had mods handing out 30 min chat bans to more people and more frequently, more people would get in an uproar calling them out for abusing their power. 24 hour chat ban is not terrible at all. I can still interact in my cartel chat and pms. I'll be sleeping for 6-7 hours out of the 24 too 😆

@OGBOB_ yes you warned them, no doubts, what we are saying is that a Day ban is way too much to be considered as minimum 

Like in such case that occurred some hours ago you could give them a 3 to 6 hours ban.... That's what we meant
