Different modifications for weapons ie scopes, rounds, barrels. Each would give a beneficial percentage increase. For example a better stock could aid in accuracy +5%, a barrel dmg +5%. You could mod each weapon with different parts to create a unique and personalised weapon. 

Plus I'd think at the super high stat levels these could be a game changer.
