  • Make Cartel wide activities; you can implement the cartel wide activities based on the member count; so smaller cartel's have a chance to proceed with these activities too. Since the resources asked will be substantial (related to the member count) 80 members max. (Several Thousand's worth of mats) Fertiliser,Agave,Paste.. and or nails. The way the materials can be scaled down for smaller cartels, can follow the same curve as to how member upgrades are done currently, the total member upgrades is 10; so you can divide the amount of resources needed by 10; based on cartel member size?

  • Failing that; you can have a large pre-determined amount of materials. 10-20k spread across multiple resources? and skip the member count requirement?

    possible increase in difficulty?

Make themed activities, cartel-wide. That asks for a substantial amount in resources that the current jobs provide, (Resource Dump, to keep prices in the economy in check to a degree.) in order to initiate the activity at hand, maybe have a countdown 2-3 days; you can implement a new activity. Maybe make them pay out:

    Reputation.
    Alcohol

    Money/Weapon enhancements.

Give the opportunity to FAIL. In which case the resources get used up, (irrespective of a success/fail) you take a Cartel Reputation hit upon failure.

  • I can't think of many right now; please add your suggestions. And i can update this thread. Thank you CE Community. Also looking for any ideas on positive outcomes not just negative ones.

Yes; this is a rather half baked idea; yes it is similar to Torn Organised Crimes; but i would rather see some kind of resource dump, where production matieral can go and be used up. I also realise that the resources and the amount asked is high/substanital, these numbers can be tweaked.. but i would rather have an activity that isn't instant; it's rewards are higher than average. But the cost in production items is also reasonably high.

Why? Because we all know the difficulty in farming materials, some players can just buy them, fine. But i want this activity to be something rather difficult, alongside the grind for daily productions, while still having a conscious choice in which all players can opt in at their leisure. Rather than everyone dumping all the resources they get in a given day and getting through these activities as fast as possible. This activity in my mind; should be something that just chugs along slowly in the background; there is no timer to this activity, but difficult enough to the point where it is not feasible to both grind your own mats and participate as one individual.

Hence it being a cartel activity and not a personal one. The material collection should be a slow, methodical approach, but a collective one!

made me think of a similar idea. lets say cartels would have a 'communal' still or coke factory. one that uses up a certain amount of agave/paste from the armory. and would let you use it once a day/week for a free energy boost that does not increase your CD

makes it so the TTs that give mats have a place to go rather than just stockpile

One of the things that we can consider is a Cartel wide NPC boss fights. While Diablo said current war system doesnt allow for NPC attacks similiar to Torn. If we have Cartel wide boss fights, we can get rewards via cartel participation. Every member can attack the NPC and defeat the NPC together which unlocks to tougher NPC fights.
