Donator energy should regen quicker than non donators    i know you get extra at full energy but after the initial energy burn there is no incentive for donators to bother,, if a non donator is really active there won't be a lot of difference

So this is more of a balancing issue than anything, although I want there to be benefits to being a donator, I don't want it to be overpowered as the majority of players are likely to be non-donators.

The primary benefit is that you've got twice as much time you can be offline (such as sleeping) where you'll keep gaining energy whereas a normal user is likely to cap their maximum energy overnight much quicker. So you're in a much better state just based on that.

I'm more than happy for people to disagree with this though as I'm just one person.

Please dont make this game a pay to win specially in this early stage, a lot of people prefer the Free to play game,

DIABLO you should consider making "an advantage" for donators for one main reason, this game is a good game, and you deserve the support.  If you put on the main page of the donator page that you are doing a "energy 5 ever 5 minute tick" for a LIMITED TIME ONLY and could be canceled at any time at your own disgression I thoroughly believe people will donate more.

I'd really hate to say this, but on this post... to be fair... there was 1 person for donating for "an energy advantage" and another person "against it".  You won't please everyone even with this balancing.  The point is, that the game should be funded financially.  I would become a donator if it did.  But the energy I also notice the same issue.  If the market is eventually flooded with donator packs, that's good for you!  The  Pack prices would eventually come down and people could buy them easier without donating.

If 50 percent of people donated that's not pay to win any more, donating becomes the NEW NORM which is good for you and no one has an advantage at that point because then it'll be expected to donate to play the actual game hard core.

Your game is actually a huge market place that will go it whichever direction the gamers take it... that's what I love about this time of game.

Heck be crazy with this game and see where it take you!  If you wake up one day and want to give the weakest active person the ability to find a unkown pill on the ground and allow him to make the choice of throwing it away or eating it, without him knowing the benefit of the pill...which would allow him to have infinite energy for the next 10 seconds (which he doesn't know about)then do it.

You should be funded as much as possible and take care of us early supporters.  I want you drinking hot french coffee every morning with a smile on your face knowing that you love working on this game, you deserve it!

I also see an option in making refills cheaper or even raise the amount of points given when opening donator packs. 

I think that's pretty viable as well, Even if it was for a limited time to be honest.  I feel every single person already here are early supporters, and even the ones that farm me at this point I feel deserve to be at the top even later down the line.

I for one like the fact that there are people so big because they've been playing the game so long.

I actually only really fear that someone can get bigger than the biggest person in the game that's been playing longer for any reason whatsoever.  And when I say playing longer I mean active hours played.

i vote with chucky, there is a balanced between pay to win and pay for an advantage, if the advantage is substantial it WILL INCREASE PROFITS, WHICH IN TURN BENEFIT THE GAME AND PLAYERS

I appreciate all the thoughts guys, I do plan to make some tweaks to Donator Packs and also plan to implement a Subscription soon, this will primarily be to start producing a consistent income for the game to cover all costs (which is all I really aim to do at this point when it comes to purchases of any kind).

The Subscription will award a larger number of points than individual Donator Packs and will award any normal perks from being a Donator such as increased max energy.

I never plan to implement anything which will give an unfair advantage over a free player though. As it stands having the increased max energy is a strong perk when you consider wasted energy overnight for free players.

I love this style of game personally so the last thing I want to do is drive away players who don't feel like or can't pay for Donator etc.

Finally, I also plan to implement changes so that Points are more common, as currently there's quite a bottleneck to acquiring them which wasn't really the intention.

I just want us donators to have a gold name in the forums, highscores and cartel lists. Let me show off with my glorious money! 

Do your thing Diablo. Don't let others persuade your game. If they like it, they'll donate just to show support. I stuck my tentacles out for two or three weeks. Realized I really liked what I saw here and jumped on board. I did that to support the game. Not for 200 energy. I'm not gonna lie. I love the 200e in the morning. It's enough and it's fair.
