Fortunately, I've tested and dipped into several smiliar games, and i have objection for these points, and that "improvement" killed the game.
Here
Minigames: we got Jobs system, you choose the timer, it gave you reward too, by just a few click.
Passive Investment, Factories Etc: Production Buildings already there, its underwhelming at the start, thats why u should rep farm.
Reward System: Check calendar, its not much, but need more events. But too much events then it will be way too overwhelming for either devs and player, too much reward and there will be economic crisis.
There is community, Cartel Giveaways and Events that occasionaly being held.
It is idle game at the start and concept, until uncertain event happens like war between cartels.
There is job system that much more engaging than traveling system where you couldnt do anything not even trading, only chat and forum post

Fair point actually. What are your thoughts on weather effects though?

You've certainly got some really great ideas here. Like almost all of them are pretty cool.
Minigames would be huge. 100% would be a good addition. Not sure how hard it would be on Diablos side. Alot of my arguments are going to be due to Diablo only being one guy so I'll largely argue some of that here and note this is a lot for one developer to implement.
Reward/giveaways: much of this happens by the community already. There is a lotto server, Iejen holds a community lotto and cartels (at least mine) does giveaways and contests as regularly as possible. Cool suggestion though
Weather affects: this one is seriously an excellent idea in my eyes. This could truly help also with the newer players as they learn the system and try out different jobs as they decide what to focus on
Hookers nightclub/nightlife: this one's excellent. But I don't imagine a world where it doesn't end up pretty much exactly like expeditions in a sense.
Espionage: this one can already kind of be done if people wish to in the game because we are small. Maybe makes sense when we have a lot more playing
Anyway sorry for the long critical post. I gave you an upvote still! Great ideas keep up the work and honestly I would "gum up" the suggestions on some of these! We need more ideas in the discord in my opinion!

So I've always been thinking about how we could improve the game. There are many topics I want to touch on , so instead of opening a thread and cluttering the suggestion board, I decided to put it all in one place:
I'm going to start what could be improved in this game and move onto game mechanics and extra content.
So this game is great overall. It has a welcoming community, the job system is great and the casino rewards are also quite generous.
However if there's one thing this game lacks is retaining the player's attention. It's virtually an idle game except the market, trading and rep farming part. Basically, when you're out of energy, there's not much you can do apart from trading.
So here's a couple of ways to fix that:
More player to player interaction:
Minigames would be a good start. Each minigame has its own reward system. Small rewards with a tiny chance for bigger rewards like 1x coke
More passive investments like purchasing factories and managing them.
In short, you want the players to spend as much time as possible.
And this brings me to the next point: rewarding the player. Right now the reward system is fairly scarce. It's reasonable and fair , but having monthly giveaways, random items for DP or subs would be a nice way to convince more people to subscribe.
Right now it gives you just enough to get a nice boost, but I think there could be non game breaking rewards as well.
Rewarding players for great suggestions is also a sure fire way to keep more suggestions coming.
More personalised content. The profiles are nice but having more room to change your profile would also be nice such as changing the background, etc
Now onto the good stuff: content!
And this where I have the most ideas so let's get right into it:
Hookers , nightclubs and nightlife: these are all elements that are part of every gangsta's life. We can't just be shooting up eachother, we need to chillax too!
Owning brothels and nightclubs that come with good perks. Players could use other players' facilities and that would be a nice way to bring more money into the game.
Hookers could come in several tiers and each one has an added risk of getting aids ( energy regen debuff) but with the added boon of energy regen or even energy boost.
Weather effects could also be a fun way to affect job rewards. Depending where you're at and the weather there, your jobs could become more productive or more dangerous; each one benefiting from something different. For example rainy weather would give you more fert, but would make GTA more dangerous.
Espionage and Intelligence Gathering: Allow players to spy on rival cartels to gather valuable information about their strengths, weaknesses, and resource locations. This could add a layer of strategy and intrigue.
Npc world bosses: adding new types of combat. This game is very PvP focused, but having some PvE would also be nice. The way this could work is that these NPC have cartel members or military bases themselves and have some very juicy loot. Cartels that dealt the most damage would have more rewards but it would all still be RnG
Real time PvP: instead of just shooting people, having more games such as poker, rock, paper and scissors would be a fun way for players to bet money against eachother.
Birds: who doesn't like birds? Each type of bird has the tendency to bring you specific items. You'd basically get a free random item every day /week.
Global events: since we're a small community, having daily global events that bring the community together will naturally nurture it and help it grow.
An example of this could be the raid bosses I mentioned above, car races, polic events where the cartels have to defeat law enforcement to secure extra resources
Prison breaks: having the chance to escape prison at the risk of extending the remaining time
Resource wars: idk how the territory thingy works all too well, but fighting for resources seems like a good idea to keep players engaged.
Titles: unique titles can be awarded to noteworthy players to make them feel special lol
Bringing players together and having more to do inside the game while you wait for the jobs to complete would be a good method to retain attention.
Anyway this is all I can remember from my shower thoughts. I think some of these ideas would be pretty cool to implement or serve as a reference for future updates.
