Quality of Life Improvement - Local Time Converter for Cartel Empire

Hello Cartel Empire Community!

I've created a simple quality-of-life userscript that I wanted to share with everyone. As someone who plays from a different time zone, I often found myself manually converting LPT (Local Player Time) to my local time, so I made a script to handle this automatically.

🕒 What This Script Does

The Cartel Empire - Local Time Replacer completely replaces the in-game LPT display with your actual local time. No more mental math trying to figure out what time events happen in your time zone!

Before: Mon, 20 Oct 2025 15:41:19 LPT
After: 10/20/2025, 3:41:19 PM (or your local format)

📥 Download & Installation

Step 1: Install a userscript manager (required):

• Tampermonkey (Recommended - Chrome/Edge/Firefox/Safari)
• Violentmonkey (Alternative)

Step 2: Click the download button below:

After clicking, your userscript manager will prompt you to install. Just click "Install" and you're done!

🔧 Features

• ✅ Automatic - Works immediately after installation
• ✅ Persistent - Survives page refreshes and dynamic content updates
• ✅ Clean - Replaces LPT with your familiar local time format
• ✅ Non-intrusive - Doesn't modify gameplay or provide unfair advantages
• ✅ Open Source - Code is transparent and viewable on GitHub Gist

ℹ️ Important Notes

• This is a client-side userscript - it only affects how time is displayed on your own browser
• No game data is modified - it simply converts the display of existing time information
• Completely optional - use it if you find it helpful, ignore it if you don't
• Hosted on GitHub Gists for transparency and easy updates

I want to be very clear about my intentions:

• I'm just trying to help improve quality of life for players who struggle with time zone conversions
• This is a purely cosmetic change that doesn't affect gameplay mechanics
• If the game administrators determine this script is not acceptable, I will immediately take it down
• I'm open to feedback and will modify or remove features if requested
