Quick update on the performance improvements we've been rolling out, as of yesterday afternoon we finally got the remainder of the caching changes deployed live and it's making a decent impact so far. We've also continued to release Vaelinns back-end improvements which is also having a massive impact on the performance of Cartel Empire.
We've seen Operation Times reduce from an average of 422ms (with the 95th percentile being 1.76 seconds) down to an average of 88ms (with the 95th percentile being 537ms). We've also seen the number of requests hitting our front-end servers dropping from around 4.17M in a 24-hour period down to around 2.12M requests yesterday and we expect that to drop further now that caching is properly in-place. This frees up significant resources on our front-end servers which we can use to reduce running costs and to continue expanding the game!
We appreciate everybodies patience during the roll out of these changes (and the patience for what we'll keep rolling out) and we truly hope you all have a much better experience playing Cartel Empire as a result of these improvements!
