167 days with you was just not enough.

I'm sure most have heard the devastating news.

I'm very sorry if this is the first place you are learning this news. This post is meant to be in glorious awe of simply one of the coolest players in CE history.

From the moment he walked in the door, he brought a special energy about him. An energy I find lacking out in the real world. That energy of kindness and love and UNCONDITIONAL kindness and love. It's a special thing.

There's a chance Joe has inspired or had interactions with you in the past.

This post is to immortalize a legend, and to pay the utmost respects to quite frankly, not just a legend of a player but a legend of a friend as well. I wish I got to know you more but proud that I got to know you as much as I did, as I'm sure most of you feel the same.

Please, I encourage one and all to share your Joe stories here. I feel an immense responsibility to do this because Joe's kindness has always resonated with me beyond the game. Out there, being the change he wanted to see in this world in his own special way.

Here's to you Joe. I hope to the universe or God that you get to read this forum post somehow and see how much we all loved you and still love you.

I found it fitting that I was driving this morning and the first song when I turned on the radio was "Don't you (forget about me)". I'm here to say that, at the very least, I will never forget you.

To end, I wanted to share the comment that was shared with us in global, that was in his obituary:

"Death is a natural part of life. Rejoice for those around you who transform into the force. Mourn them do not" -Yoda

I'm not quite in the right emotional headspace to share my stories yet...but I appreciate you making this thread.  I'll edit this later when I'm ready to talk more about him and the impact he left on my life.

It's no problem.  Share stories or don't whatever is most comfortable.
