Personally I don't think candy should be tradable it defeats the purpose of the grind if you can just buy it all.
If anything continue to develop the event adding additional things to candy shop that may eventually be traded and some limited to X amount of number available.

I think both the collectibles that affect candy gain and candy should be untradable. Progress that you have to work on, and can't just buy.
