I've bought my PE plot and now I need materials to start building it. The prices for the nails have increased and now I don't know if it's worth buying them anymore, should I start doing the construction robbery job and keep my money?

Nope; Your intelligence is likely too low to do it with any sort of success, and even when your 1200 intelligence you still fail pretty often. Your only option is to buy them. 

Not really. I started construction farming on day 2/3 last thing before bed at night. It took a couple of weeks of fails to get any decent pass rate but I generated most of my own mats. 

I wouldn't however do it during the day like that when you're so new.
