Hey everyone,

I wanted to throw out a suggestion that I think would improve the gameplay — especially for the merchant community.

The idea is simple: add a small notebook icon to the tray (alongside the existing HUD icons) that, when clicked, opens a compact floating window where players can jot down whatever they need to remember. Think of it like a sticky note that lives inside the game.

Why would this be useful? Right now, if you're running any kind of trading operation, you're constantly juggling information — bulk purchase prices, resale margins, which items you're sitting on, deals you've agreed to with other players, and so on. Most of us end up alt-tabbing to a notes app or scribbling things on actual paper, which completely breaks immersion and flow.

Having a notebook baked directly into the UI would mean:

• Merchants can track buy/sell prices per item without leaving the game
• You can log bulk deals mid-session (e.g. "Bought 200x [Item] @ 450 each, selling @ 600")
• Anyone can use it for personal reminders — quest notes, player contacts, whatever

The window doesn't need to be complex at all. Even just a plain text field that saves between sessions would be a huge win. Optionally, tabs or the ability to label different notes could make it even more powerful for heavy traders.

I think this would add real value without requiring any major systems work on the dev side — it's purely a UI addition. Would love to hear if other players would find this useful, and hopefully the devs take notice!

I used AI to write this.
