Adding to my queue, this makes sense to me.

I used this suggestion to tackle the following notification improvements:

1. When an expedition slot is available and the player has a team that can be assigned, the icon will be yellow.
2. When an education course is available the university icon will be yellow.
3. When a smuggling run can be claimed the cartel icon will be yellow, clicking it will take you to the smuggling run collection page. In addition the smuggling navigation in the cartel page will be yellow. This is only for players with permissions to manage smuggling runs.
