Collectible market values — proposed starting prices

Looking for feedback before we set itemValue on collectibles. These items are high value / low volume, so the daily market price updater almost never has enough sales to move them — and right now every collectible is sitting at £0.

Why this matters

itemValue is the book / reference price the game uses (market context, economy tools, etc.). Without a sensible starting point, collectibles stay at zero forever because they rarely hit the volume thresholds that auto-update other items.

How we got these numbers

  • Pulled all-time market sales, police auction wins, and clean cash-for-item trades (one collectible traded for cash only — no multi-item barters).
  • Ignored obvious gift / token prices under £5M so £5 or £100 sales don’t drag the average into the dirt.
  • Where recent (last ~6 months) clearing prices were clearly higher than the all-time average, we leaned toward the recent market — especially on elves, Pablo’s Hat, Crimson Star, and Easter Fuggly.
  • A few ultra-rare items have almost no data, so those are more of a judgment call — called out below.

This is a starting anchor, not a hard price floor or ceiling. Players can still list and trade at whatever the market will bear. Once there’s enough volume, normal price updates can take over where possible.

Proposed starting itemValue

Collectible Proposed start Notes
El Chapo's Head £400M Very thin trade history; proposing above the sparse median based on rarity / prestige.
Elf on a Shelf - Green £210M Recent median ~£210M; solid auction + market sample.
Elf on a Shelf - Red £190M Recent median ~£190M; most auction volume of any collectible.
La Cara Roja Mask £250M Clearing consistently around £200–350M since release.
Pablo's Hat £200M Older sales were cheap; recent clears closer to £150–200M.
Padrino's Egg £200M Older cluster was ~£50–100M; recent trades higher — proposing £200M as a middle ground.
Quecheu Troll Doll £5.0B There is only one of these owned by a normal player right now. Ultra rare.
The Crimson Star £150M Highest volume collectible; recent market often £140–250M.
The Easter Fuggly £1.0B Big step-change in 2026 — recent clears around £1.0–1.5B.

Head, Egg, and Troll Doll are the judgment calls with the thinnest data — everything else is closer to observed recent clearing prices.

What we want from you

  • Do any of these feel way too high or way too low vs what you’ve actually paid / sold for?
  • Especially interested in takes on El Chapo's Head (£400M), Quecheu Troll Doll (£1B), and Padrino's Egg (£200M).
  • If you’ve got recent screenshots or trade/auction examples that disagree with the table, post them.
  • We’re not trying to “set the market” forever — just a sane book value so these aren’t stuck at £0.

Quick reference — observed ranges (for context)

Collectible Min* Max Avg* Market sales Auctions Trades**
El Chapo's Head £7.5M £700M £293M 0 0 6
Elf on a Shelf - Green £5M £300M £98M 31 23 94
Elf on a Shelf - Red £5M £400M £75M 47 26 97
La Cara Roja Mask £5M £500M £258M 25 0 59
Pablo's Hat £5M £300M £39M 84 2 157
Padrino's Egg £20M £450M £89M 16 0 78
Quecheu Troll Doll £250M £250M £250M 0 0 4
The Crimson Star £5M £350M £76M 65 0 245
The Easter Fuggly £5M £1.55B £235M 12 1 60

*Min/avg exclude sales under £5M.
**Trades = accepted trades that included the item (many are barters, not pure cash sales).

Drop your thoughts below — agreement, disagreement, or better data welcome. We’ll lock starting values after the thread has had a chance to cook.

Of note after looking into this a bit more, there is only one Quecheu troll doll in circulation to a player, with that in mind i would propose a much higher value. I have upped my suggestion to 5 billion.

If the wiki is correct, I personally feel the troll doll should have a slightly absurd value due to only 3 being in circulation. Those lucky enough to hold the rarest item in this empire should surely benefit.

The fuggly, while still rare, has over 50x the number in circulation with an equal value in the projected prices (again, assuming wiki numbers are still accurate).

For clarity, I am not one of those lucky individuals to hold a troll doll.

Great callout, exactly the kind of input I was hoping for, thanks!
