Following Vaelinn’s proposal to introduce Easy, Medium, and Hard difficulty modes for cartel missions, I would like to suggest some additional improvements to make the system more flexible and suitable for different cartel specializations.

1. Expand Existing Rarity Tiers Across Mission Types

Cartel missions already have five rarity tiers:

Common

Uncommon

Rare

Epic

Legendary

However, these tiers are currently associated with specific mission types. For example, a Legendary mission may be a Job mission, while an Epic mission may be a Fight mission.

My suggestion is to make Fight, Revive, and Job missions available across all five rarity tiers.

This would create the following structure:

Rarity Fight Revive Job

Common ✓

Uncommon ✓

Rare ✓

Epic ✓

Legendary ✓

Each rarity would continue to determine the mission’s requirements and rewards, while the mission type would be selected separately.

2. Allow Cartels to Select Their Preferred Mission Type

If all three mission types receive their own rarity tiers, cartels should have an option to select their preferred category:

Fight

Revive

Job

This would be especially useful for cartels that specialize in a particular activity. For example, Night Ward focuses on revives, so it would be beneficial for them to select Revive missions rather than relying entirely on random mission-type distribution.

The selection could function as a preference rather than an absolute restriction, depending on how much variety the developers want to preserve.

3. Introduce Easy, Medium, and Hard Modes

Vaelinn’s suggestion of introducing Easy, Medium, and Hard modes for each mission would complement the existing rarity system.

Rarity could determine the mission’s general tier, requirements, and rewards, while difficulty mode would provide additional control over the challenge level.

For example:

Common — Easy

Common — Medium

Common — Hard

Legendary — Easy

Legendary — Medium

Legendary — Hard

This would allow cartels to choose a challenge appropriate to their activity level and available resources.

4. Consider Recent Cartel Performance

As an additional feature, the game could consider a cartel’s recent mission-completion performance when determining the likelihood of receiving different difficulty levels.

For example, cartels that consistently complete challenging missions could have a greater chance of receiving higher-difficulty missions, while cartels that struggle could receive more manageable options.

This should remain a flexible system rather than a strict punishment mechanism, so occasional failures do not disproportionately affect a cartel’s future mission availability.

I hate online games where you have to interact with people. You eventually loose them and feel sad.

Also a similar idea should be implemented in personal missions.

Current personal missions are way too easy except when you get an Epic or Legendary attack target.
