Suggestion: Mission Tokens & Mission Shop

Id like to suggest adding Mission Tokens and a Mission Shop to give Personal Missions some additional long-term value.

Currently, Personal Missions have different rarities, difficulties and rewards, with Daily, Weekly and Monthly missions available. Players can also spend 5 Supporter Points to reroll a Personal Mission.

Mission Tokens could be added as an additional reward for completing these missions.

Mission Tokens

Players would earn Mission Tokens by completing Personal Missions, with the amount depending on the mission's rarity and difficulty.

For example:

  • Common / Easy → 1 Token

  • Common / Hard → 2 Tokens

  • Rare → 3–5 Tokens

  • Epic → 6–10 Tokens

  • Legendary → 10–20 Tokens

  • Weekly / Monthly missions → larger token rewards

The exact amounts could obviously be adjusted depending on how frequently missions are completed.

The existing mission rewards of items, reputation and money would remain unchanged, with Mission Tokens being an additional reward.

Mission Rerolls

The current 5 Supporter Point reroll system could remain unchanged.

Mission Tokens would not be used to reroll missions, keeping their main purpose focused on the Mission Shop.

Mission Shop

A Mission Shop would rotate its stock every 7 days, offering a random selection of items that can be purchased with Mission Tokens.

The shop could contain:

  • Weapons

  • Armor

  • Consumables

  • Special items

  • Cosmetics / collectibles

  • Occasionally unique Mission Shop items

The items and prices would be randomized every rotation.

Prices could be calculated from the item's recent market value rather than using fixed prices.

For example, if the system determines that 1 Token represents roughly 10,000 in market value, an item worth 1,000,000 could cost around 80–100 Tokens.

Example:

  • Item worth 100,000 → 8–10 Tokens

  • Item worth 1,000,000 → 80–100 Tokens

  • Item worth 5,000,000 → 400–500 Tokens

  • Item worth 10,000,000 → 800–1,000 Tokens

  • Item worth 25,000,000 → 2,000–2,500 Tokens

The exact conversion rate could obviously be balanced around the game's economy.

Shop Limits & Safeguards

  • Each item would have a limited number of purchases per weekly rotation.

  • Higher-value items could have stricter purchase limits.

  • Mission Tokens would be non-transferable between players.

  • Shop stock and purchase limits would reset every 7 days.

  • Prices should be based on a recent market average rather than a single listing.

  • The shop should generally stay around 80–100% of market value, preventing it from becoming an easy money-making method.

  • A price cap could prevent items from being excessively overpriced.

  • Exclusive Mission Shop items could have stricter weekly limits to prevent them from flooding the economy.

  • Market manipulation could be accounted for by using an average/recent market value rather than the current lowest listing.

Saving Tokens

Mission Tokens would not expire when the shop rotates.

Players could save their tokens for future rotations if they don't find anything they want in the current shop.

This creates another reason to keep completing missions even when the current rewards aren't particularly useful, since players can work toward saving enough tokens for a future item they want.

  • Overall, I think this would give Personal Missions another layer of progression while keeping their existing reputation, money and item rewards intact. It would also give players a reason to consistently complete Daily, Weekly and Monthly missions instead of only focusing on the immediate rewards.
