just put bounty on who mugs

It is not about bounties. There is an issue with the protection

You only get protection on the money that has been untouched from the first mug. If the person bought more stuff and mugged, that money will be unprotected

I responded in direct messages too, but had not spotted this bug report.

Mug protection kicks in when you are mugged, putting protection on the remaining cash on hand after the mug. If another buy happens, the new cash you have from the next buy is not under mug protection, so if you are mugged again, your initial cash on hand before the buy is protected but the new money is not. There are also actions a player can take that remove mug protection entirely.

So this was not a bug.
