An overhaul to the cartel rank system for lazy cartel leaders, that will incentivize members to be more proactive within the cartel!

 

OVERVIEW:

Cartels already have ranks established by cartel leaders, designating specific perks to specific ranks. The overhaul adds point triggers to the ranks, so when members meet specific point criteria they automatically rank up to the cartel rank. The cartel leader will designate which rank is achieved at their set point threshold and how to earn points. Members will join cartels and have clear goals to help the cartel grow that they can work on at their own pace, reaching new heights in the heiarchy within their own cartel. it also allows leaders to manage all members easilly without having to dig through thousands of events and logs. 

(Im not sure if there is a limit to the ranks you can make within a cartel but the limit should be removed)

 

HOW TO EARN POINTS:

Points can be earned by gaining cartel rep, donating items or money to the cartel, or be adjusted manually by cartel leaders(much like how you can change cartel vault values). (will need a donate money to cartel button added to the vault for members too, so they can decide to donate money instead of stashing it). Cartel leaders will have to assign point values to all items/money/rep and points will acrew automatically. 

 

EXAMPLE:

LEADER (sets point requirement for each rank trigger, and rep/item/money point value)

RANK A - 5,000,000 points required

RANK B - 100,000 points required

RANK C - 10,000 points required

RANK D - 1,000 points required

RANK E - 100 points required

RANK F - 0 points required, they just joined

POINT VALUES:

bandage donated - 5 points per

corana donated - 50 points per

rep earned - 5 points per

money donated - 1 point per

(note: this is still just an example)

Player A joins and makes 6 attacks earning 937 cartel rep, and then donates 20 bandages, 3 corana, and $50,000

~~ They would have earned 4,685 points from the rep, 100 from the bandages, 150 from the corana, and 50,000 from the money, giving them a point total of 54,935 and placing them in RANK C giving them immediate access to that ranks perks and bragging rights to all the RANK D-F members.

 

i think its a great idea, feel free to add to it. i think it would encorage more growth of the cartel as a whole. if implemented it would be optional as you can set all point values to 0 and manually change peoples ranks. if definitely will take some playing around with to get ranks right for specific cartels but i think it would be fun for everyone, and you can still have cartel rep runs with payouts on top of it as well.
