i honestly believe MONEY SINKERS are good for a game like this, not just RR, any type of PvP money related game would be awesome.
like "3-card monte", "higher or lower", etc.

hmmm reminds me of somewhere else I've seen a RR game...
The mugging isn't too much of a problem there. It exists, but the way the game works is you see someone waiting for an opponent to join - a list of people who started a game for x amount of $$, optionally password protected. When someone joins, you no longer see either player. Each turn takes up to x amount of time before timing out, and other people don't see the game live. So you as a mugger would have to guess a) that the one visible player who started the game won, and b) when they won/the game ended in order to hit them before they bank.
Also has 2 and 3 shot options, I forget what you need to have those available...
