The final implementation only made reward prestige P5 20% better, so the difference isn't as big as in the suggestion.

And regarding the other question: It's about all standard jobs, Arson was just an example.

This change did alter more than just P5 rewards, it lowered rewards boosts for P1 and P2, from P3 onwards the rewards should be a bit better.

Standard Job Rep — What Actually Shipped

The reward-prestige suggestion got implemented largely along the lines you proposed. Here's the breakdown of the changes that went live:

1. Reward prestige is now a separate multiplier (the big one)

Previously, your reward prestige bonus was lumped into the same bucket as the cartel and university bonuses (all added together). Now it's broken out into its own multiplier:

rep = base_rep × category_multiplier × (1 + rewardPrestige × 0.20) × (1 + cartel% + university%)

This means each reward-prestige level (+20%/level, up to +100% at P5) now compounds on top of your perks instead of being diluted by them — so leveling rewards prestige actually matters for rep now.

2. Cartel and University perks were rescaled down to compensate

To avoid runaway numbers from the new multiplicative stacking, the perk values were reduced:

• University courses (scaled to 75% of old values):
  • PR (Public Relations): 25% → 19%
  • Social Media: 75% → 56%
  • Max university bonus: 100% → 75%
• Cartel "Standard Job Rep" perks (scaled to ~62.5% of old values):
  • Tiers I–VIII: 16% / 31% / 47% / 63% / 78% / 94% / 109% / 125%
  • Max cartel bonus: 200% → 125%

3. Net effect

• Top end (max prestige + all perks): ~20% more max rep than before.
• Lower prestige players: a bit less rep until you reach roughly P3 on rewards prestige for standard jobs, after which you come out ahead. This is the intended trade-off — it shifts value toward rewards prestige, which is the main long-term rep investment.

4. Behind the scenes

• Cartel and university bonuses are now tracked separately (instead of as one combined number) so the formula can treat them correctly.
• A one-time database migration was included to convert everyone's already-purchased perks to the new values, so no one needs to re-buy anything.
