How will this mainly benefit old players?
The biggest use case as I see it, is giving newer players access to free alcohol, without risking them taking the most expensive alcohol when it arrives from missions and smuggling. At least I know Jei plans to allow members to use higher tier of alcohol based on activity, while selling the top-tier alcohol to fund rep-runs and other competitions

Only if you're in a crappy cartel that doesn't give you any kind of freebies. For the rest of us who do give our stuff to new players and constantly help the community it would be super helpful so we can better organize the process of all that

Ngl actually a fire idea I dont run a cartel but see all the uses for it quiet handy in the long game
Kindly add permissions for specific use of items, specifically: Medical items, alcohols, and drugs.
Each item under these categories should have a separate permission switch.
Example:
Category: Alcohol
Permission 1 - Corona
Permission 2 - Mexcal
Permission 3 - Blancoda
Permission n - n,alcohol
Once a new role has been created by the Capo/Co-Capo, this permission setting can be toggled PER role. So, a different toggle for each role, which allows for the customization of drinkable alcohol depending on the assigned role of the member.
This will greatly help in managing the armory and overall cartel planning. Other major cartels have already adopted a tiered system for their cartel memberships but lacks the ability to customize them individually. It also prevents item abuse and 'drink and run' campaign of certain players.
