One of the recent performance improvements added a caching layer on the numbers appearing for completed missions. Can you confirm that when you see the number on pc and then refresh on phone you still do not see the number?

So ... it's getting weirder and weirder:

a) yesterday on PC it was o.k. ... but for a moment I think that icon switch on and off when I go on missions to claim the mission (it show 1, when I was not on mission tab; then I go to missions and it switch off -> I go on other tab and it switch on -> then go again in mission and it switch off, then I claim the mission)

b) at morning on phone everything was fine! ... but:

c) now on PC I complete the mission ... icon stay empty!!! ---> then I go on missions and it show 1 ---> then I go on other tab (Town or Jobs, don't remember) AND it become empty again ---> then I refresh site and it lid up again as 1 -> then I go and claim the mission

Before it didn't do things like that. So now something "bug"s it - maybe site cashe ... or I don't know.

Hmm, at the moment I am not sure what to do with this.

The primary concern from my side would be: Does the number appear after a refresh when you expect it would be populated?

I think for the moment I am going to hold on taking action here unless this gets more thumbs up or others report it as well.

I've tried replicating this and it's only when using multiple sessions (ie using the phone and the PC at the same time) that it shows anything it shouldn't. However the issue is fixed with a refresh on whichever device you're using at the time.

First day it glitched on phone (stay empty) - on PC was o.k. (with this on/off little glitch)

Second day was o.k. on phone. On PC it goes like this: if mission is complete, if I click on "Missions" icon become "1" (and inside mission is ready to be claimed), BUT if I go to click on other icons (town; jobs, etc) "Missions" icon become emtpy (inside mission is not claimed still).

Only after I refresh the site itself (regular Refresh ... not Shift+Reload) it become "1", as it have to be.

So if I read your question correctly -> Even if empty (and I know that I complete the mission), when I go to "Missions", it appear corectly ... but disappear if I click on other icons ... before refresh.

I also mention this above ... and today it seems more like this. BUT it's weird to happen both on phone and PC, i.e. it's not issue related to device site cache.

If you think it's not something that can be used from someone to exploit ... just keep it in mind if someday you see what the problem was.

Below is the last post from me for this issue ... i.e. what happen today on both devices:

1) At morning on phone:

I complete mission. Icon stay emtpy. I decide to not go to claim it ... but to complete second mission!

I complete second mission. Icon show "1"". I do not refresh. Instead I click icons ---> Town, nothing happen, show "1" ---> Then "Job", AND hmmm, after this second click on upper row of icons, it show "2"

2) On PC

I write so late due to busy day.

Now sit on PC, click to start a job, some other things. I do not test anything. 

And I saw that Mission icon is "1". Go there ... AND actually therer are 2 missions to claimed

The question is very clear:

As stated from me at the start. this didin't happen before. It start to happen in last 2-3 days.

As now for the first time in like my whole 700+ days in this game ... the game runs lightning fast without any lag ... don't touch anything :-P

Better with this icon issue and no lag ... that's way way better

The speed gains were not solely gained from this caching. I can take a revisit to the caching here to see if i can get the immediacy back (I too found it valuable). I will move this to my queue to look into further.
