Players joining Cartels will now become Chavos ("Youth" in Spanish). This new member period lasts a total of 3 days, during which time the new member will not have any Cartel perks applied and may not make use of or be loaned items from the Cartel Armory.
The new player will see a countdown on their Cartel status icon telling them when this will end, they'll also see a message at the top of the Cartels profile page and within the Armory during this time explaining the limitations and when they will be lifted.
This system will be expanded in the near future to cover other systems as required, the goal of this system is not to penalise players who wish to change Cartels, but to ensure that we have a system in place that I can use to balance this.
NOTE: I have applied all Cartel Perks to any members that were already in a Cartel at the time of this change, but new members will not have access to the Armory until their 3-day period has lapsed.
