That's what private trade is for. You trade privately excluding the people you don't want to do business with. Market is public and should stay that way.

The benefit of La Paz is that it's better for set-and-forget passive trading to any number of people. Is it fair to have to completely forego the Market to get the same result as not being visible to people you've ignored?

Sorry but too easy to circumvent mugging (regardless of whether this is your intention or not) as I say this as someone who is not a mugger.

If a beef with someone is that great that a few events trigger that person then this probably isn't the game for them. Either that or the issue is so extreme as to definitely require the attention of the mods.

Please no. As much as id like this as someone who always puts up stuff in the market. It kills yet another fun mechanic of the game and like others said theres already plenty of ways to avoid getting mugged
