Even non-NPC item prices should be fixed though as well (rather than market pegged), otherwise it's too easy to exploit low-volume overvalued item donations. With that in place, I'd keep item donations.

The enchament breakdown value should go back to the previous fixed ratio system and the church value of enchantments should be fixed as well. That way you can have a donation value that is similar to purchase value and not 8-10x

I don't agree. Cash+item sink works. Best case increase the donation amount.

We created this by letting items inflate in price. This is a player driven market. We have attempted discussing solutions to help or fix the economy to no communal agreement.

Now we have a bunch of features to fast track everything. If we do a hard reset, people quit, we devalue things, people quit. We do anything to make things more reasonable for long term development people quit. 

I agree, that the church donation gets out of hand but at this point we are on a razors edge searching for answers.

If I can generate 2b in church donations via enhancement materials that's what I will do and sorry kwyy, tpa is not the answer 😅

If we change the church donations to be npc buyback price it won't fix how I am doing this. Problem lies with the current net worth calculations and the only true fix would be to go back to how it was.

We can't sell the enhancements for straight cash to any vendor and it should remain that way.

That being said before anything major happens, give me a day to scrap the 1k items I have in storage first 😭

Well aware TPA is not the answer, I picked it deliberately to show how ridiculous the system is even when using something 'inefficient'.
